"Why Me" reflects the journey of life through the lens of personal interactions. It portrays how different people influence our paths, some lifting us up while others drag us down. The poem compares these interactions to the passage of time, suggesting that some relationships are transient and must be understood and accepted as such. Ultimately, it teaches the importance of letting go and accepting what has happened.

Why Me

Wherever I go, rejections follow me. Why?
Why does my voice seem to poison the listener?
Am I doing something wrong?
I want to go for a walk with someone,
But how can I go without holding hands?

I want to cry a lot in the rain,
But even the rain rejects me like everyone else!
The moon and stars disappear
While I search for my lost path.

I want to find my way, but the world keeps pushing me down.
Sometimes we wear masks to avoid problems,
But they still point at me, even when I’m hiding behind one.

But until when? The world needs to change.
I want to sleep to forget my past,
But the bed turns into a rough floor.

I always need a friend for life, not just for the moment.
Being attached to someone may bring happiness when talking to them,
But only until they find someone better.

I need a break from all of this,
And I want to see the world as I envision it.
