Losing someone you deeply cared for, who left after you gave so much love and effort, creates a profound void that’s hard to fill. Their absence feels like a personal betrayal, making moving on a slow and painful process. The finality of death, however, imposes an unchangeable end, intensifying the grief. Both experiences challenge your ability to heal, but each brings its own unique heartache.

Love Passed By

My life was desolate, empty, and cold,
Happiness a fleeting blue moon, untold.
In despair, with no shoulder to lean,
Your presence made my world serene.

On a pleasant day, when clouds gently rained,
I realized losing you was not to be gained.
You were drop-dead gorgeous, words couldn’t define,
So I expressed my love, and promised you’d be mine.

You make me laugh when I’m feeling down,
With a puerile spirit, you lift my frown.
Your cute smile enthralls, fills me with cheer,
You proved that our hearts were made to be near.

When you entered my life, darkness was gone,
Everyone has a reason to live, but you’re my dawn.
You taught me to face the music, stand tall,
Through problems and trials, you helped me through it all.

Our journey together made others envious,
Deciding to share our lives, our love was glorious.
Time wrote our story like a fairy tale bright,
Married with twins, our future felt right.

I thought I had a lucky charm from above,
Everything I wished for, in you, my love.
But when I had it all, God took you away,
Leaving me in despair, night replacing day.

Your absence felt as if you were gone for good,
A loss so uncanny, I could not face the wood.
I faced life without you, accepting the ache,
Wishing to change the past, though it was a mistake.

At the crossroads of living without you,
I realized how hard it is to bid adieu.
The love we shared, a memory so sweet,
Made the absence of you a challenge to beat.
