To The Girl I Love

This is for the girl whom my heart tenderly loves.
With hair set free and cunning eyes,
Soft cheeks and rosy lips arise.
With a strong desire to live happily and fully.
Her character, love, and care defy mere words' scope.

Enduring illness without the desire to live or nurture.
Where life ceased to offer happiness and wealth's gleam.
Awaiting the one, love's beacon yet unseen, I remain.
Accepting fate's decree, awaiting the end of pain's sorrowful reign.
At the hospital's edge, gazing at the sky,
Longing for release, wondering when and why.
A voice behind, filled with fear and concern,
Two eyes meet, in solitude they yearn.
"In my fear of living, I falter; you, brave, endure."
Love at first sight proven true for us both, defying myth's hold,
In the anger and distance, your love shone when first we met.

Me, who explains the pain of living; you, the one
who explains the beauty of living.
Dying feels like joining the stars and gazing at our loved ones.
Letting go of loved ones and witnessing their happiness is best,
while memories forever reside in you, where I exist eternally with you.
Not this time our paths separated, but I'll join you,
when it's all over, and fate finally decides to reunite us.
Waiting for you is my chosen worth,
with a heart full of love, I'm ending this for you.
With the fear not of dying, but of losing the people I love.
