The poem is written from a first-person perspective, revealing the speaker's inner thoughts and feelings. The speaker reflects on their own isolation and the superficiality of some relationships, ultimately finding solace and transformation through a newfound love.

Eclipsed Solitude

I feel like a solitary island, a land alone,
With no souls around me, the ocean has turned to stone.
Longing for love and peace, yet gloom follows close,
Friends are essential, but false hearts are like a knife's dose.

They label me an introvert, yet not a friend,
Silencing myself for trivial talk that never mends.
A wound has formed from this endless refrain,
I lie supine, as minutes stretch into an endless rain.

Stuck in a downpour, I seek to be flawless, but find it in vain,
Jittery always, hiding my truth in a feigned display.
Deceived by this reality, yearning for eternal grace,
Then she arrived, as sweet as a button, and took all my troubles from their place.

The poem explores themes of loneliness, self-discovery, and the search for genuine connection. It uses vivid imagery to depict the speaker's emotional state—feeling like a solitary island and being caught in a metaphorical downpour. Love’s Celestial Dance

She makes me feel heaven's sighs,
With a picturesque beauty and breathtaking eyes.
We were kindred spirits, leaving me amazed,
From a heart once small to a love so unphrased.

Friends we were, but destiny had a plan,
To bring us together, as only fate can.
With butterflies fluttering in my heart's domain,
Our gazes locked, and we walked on air's plain.

God gifted me a flower of the clock,
We became entwined as we fell in love's dock.
On the beach at golden hour, we sat on the sand,
Which turned to a soft bed as waves caressed our hands.

I wanted to ask, to reveal all to him,
Is this enough for my life, so dim?
No need for more, or to take from this scene,
Our love flourishes like a green bay tree, serene.

My life now dazzles with thunder and light,
Building a kingdom with me as king,
With a queen and a princess of lunar delight,
Her cherubic ways make stress take flight.

In every problem life may bestow,
One person is enough to make worries go.
There’s nothing more powerful than love's embrace,
It’s a force that no troubles can erase.
