Battle Of Love

Who placed war between the high mountains,
Who lives between smoke and gunfire,
Longing for when we will go home,
But saying that when there is no home.

Injury to the body, but doctors will be there,
Injury to the soul, but who will be there?
That day I met the angel on the battlefield
To heal my wounded heart.
She came and taught me what love is,
Until then, there was only revenge in the soul.
But we did not expect our end to be so close.
The time came to part with her, and the war intensified.
Tears filled the eyes and the heart became heavy.
To say that the mind does not go away, but patriotism pulls me.
I touched her hands and said I will come.

As days went by, my heart yearned to see her.
A call came to take a day off—a whole bag of letters.
I felt her longing through the paper.
Her tearful letter hurt me,
But I was not given a chance to write back.
Fighter planes in the sky and the sounds of bombs hitting the ground.

A muffled voice from a distance told me to move.
Suddenly the blood from my heart falls to the ground.
I fell down.
A few days later, it was news to the whole world.
Glad the war is over, but not for the losers.
They built graves for all the dead soldiers.
She was waiting for me to come.
A shock and she broke down.
She came to my grave full of tears with flowers in her hands.
